Default Rohrer & Klingner non-IG inks - can you mix them?

I vaguely recall someone claiming that R&K says that their regular fountain pen inks can be mixed. I've looked everywhere, and I can't find anything from R&K about that. Does anybody have such a reference?

I'd be hesitant to mix them if it's not specifically condoned by the manufacturer. Nevertheless, I'd be interested in people's experience as well.

Ole, the only ink, I read that couldn't be mixed is Sepia...
Here is a thread on the other side that details it. However, the original link in the thread isn't working anymore....
However, one poster has a special mix with Earl grey and Noodler's black that works....

If they are all the same types of inks then I wouldn't be concerned about mixing them. All non-IG inks should be fine. As always mix a small amount in a small vial rather than adding some to a bottle.
I regularly mix the same types of inks across brands without problems.

Rohrer & Klingner is the only manufacturer that guarantees that you can mix all of their standard inks explicitly.
Mixing of Sepia is also possible but they do not guarantee for the long term stability of the mixes.

I've mixed R&K without any issues.
Also, I've mixed Helianthus with many other ink brands to great success.

While I mix inks, I only use them with brushes and glass dip pens. Once I have a mix I like, I let it rest in a sample vial overnight.
If it's stable after 12 to 24 hours, I use them in cheaper demo-fountain pens (Demo, so I can see it the ink separates or does anything funky).
I record how a mix is set-up, so I can reproduce it (but I use nr. of drops, so it's not super exact).

Sometimes I mix up to 3 or even 4 inks together (though I found the sweet spot to be 2-3, 4 rarely makes any difference).
But hey, playing mad scientist is part of the appeal

R&K non-IG inks have been really well behaved for me.
Mixing them with themselves should be just fine.

Thanks Ptero. That's what I've read in the FPN thread that @Yazeh linked. However, I can't find the same on the R&K site. I believe the "guarantee" was stated in a .pdf, but even the Wayback Machine doesn't seem to have it.

That said, there are enough witnesses quoting it on FPN, in different languages even, that I'll take it as true that the information came from from R&K at some point. So, I'll assume the answer to my question is YES.

I know the document was there, saw it myself previously.
On a quick search on their new designed website I could not find it either, maybe itˋs not longer part of their site, but this should not change the statement.

I imagine it dawned on R&K that telling people they can safely mix your ink rather negates the opportunity to sell more bottles of different colours yourself.

Anyway, fwiw, I also remember the advice that it was fine to do so, except for Sepia, and have, in fact, done so with no detrimental results.

I am trying mixing diamine ink and they are also works well. It is good to try that mixing as the diamine has a Hugh rage of inks in their collection.
