There are some US sellers of many of the Indian pens - FPR are the first that come to mind.

I already have a few in my cart.
These don't smell like Noodler's pens, do they? My Wality does not.
My other pen is a Montblanc.
And my other blog is a tumblr!

All I can say is:
I'm ruined. I just got a Pelikan 600. It is a wonderful pen, and pretty, too.
Thanks for all the responses; I have a further question. What do you consider 'flagship' piston-fillers?
I do have a Lamy 2000, and now this Pelikan. Only one MB piston-filler, and that's a 132 (I need to check).
My bank account is going to take a beating.

Actually, for under $100, you can get a pretty good vintage gold-nibbed Pelikan - I don't recall ever paying more than that for one, and I have a few. If you're happy with one of their fantastic steel nibs, there are M20x's out there within budget as well.

You could potentially build a M215 for about that price.
Niche Pens is selling a barrel for $85 and a nib for $11. I'm sure you could find a spare cap...somewhere?
In fact I already have a few extra M205 nibs lying around...if I could just source a cap... (they are out of stock of M205 caps, but the M405 would fit and be in a similar aesthetic - although the cap alone costs $97!)
UK Amazon has M200/205s for around £70 right now. I just got the pastel green with a B nib for £68, free delivery. That's about US$95 at current rate - and half the price I paid for the same pen a couple of months ago. I'm not even sure if I'll keep it, but it is very pretty...
They have the brown, regular green marble and black for about the same price, the white's a tiny bit more, and the blue 205's a bit more still.
Cult pens have 15% off sitewide for their birthday celebration (minimum spend £75) until the end of the week and there's usually a free shipping code around somewhere. A classic green M200 would be about US$85 on that basis, but you'd need to add something to get up to the discount minimum. But, for example, they're selling the Faber Castell Essentio Carbon for the equivalent of $16 (normally at least $50) so it's not hard to get there! All of those are export prices, of course.
