    I bought a little Canon Powershot a1300 (cost about the same as a WingSung 629).
    I picked this one because it has a viewfinder. Unexpectedly, it zooms along with the lens







    A lot of fun with older digital camera, this one is powered by 2 AA-batteries. Talk about being convenient.

    Long ago I had a 1200. I gave it away to a guy who was teaching photography to ghetto kids; seemed worthwhile. A few years later I missed it and bought a used one I still have today. It's great in good light since it uses a CCD sensor, but those aren't great at low light. Anyway, here's a classic "street" image taken with it. The camera is small and unobtrusive, good for street work:
