I finally managed to get my new Royal Mail price guides from the Post Office and found the cost to send international letters has gone up to £1.70.
However, although that sounds very high for a postcard, the weight bands covered by this price are now up to 100grams for Europe and up to 20grams for anywhere else in the world.
No longer will I need to ensure I use Tomoe River paper and an airmail envelope then carefully weigh my letters to the US in order to ensure they weigh less than the old 10grams limit. That's a bit of good news.I can use some nice paper and envelopes and might even be able to include an add-in occasionally
