    Hello community!
I decided that now I still have time to make useful gifts for my sons, just in case. Fortunately, I had time to talk with SEM Finest Ebonite before and ordered a little of the interesting textured ebonite which I wanted. So, who is interested, let's go to view:

Andrew Lensky “Tribute Visio Cumberland” – ebonite medium sized fountain pen w|JoWo #6 nib unit (made in Ukraine) handcrafted work

Together with the ebonite orders from SEM, as a gift from manufacturer, I received samples set with ebonite color types that can be ordered. I do not want to make a separate post about ebonite, because I not much to say yet, but for update general knowlege base I will leave the information in my previous post about Andrew Lensky "Tribute Visio" fountain pen (also available full-res file there to download).

Hello community! Each more or less well-known modern brand of fountain pens has in its model line a model in honor of its nation or with national motifs. I have been thinking about something like this for a long time, but needed to find real identify of nation which good looks and harmoniously on the body surface. The answer to this question was somewhere in the around, but it didn’t catch in my head, and finally the most obvious thing was found by me – is our native Vyshyvanka (embroidery) ornaments. Then it took some more time to reproduce some of the patterns in a format suitable for put on cover. So let’s look at this first prototype)).

Andrew Lensky “Tribute Vyshyvanka” in Classic Black – ebonite medium sized fountain pen w|JoWo #6 nib unit (handmade in Ukraine)

That is a gorgeous pen. I like how you matched embroidery and guiloche patterns up together, really innovative.

Really lovely work Andew If you can pull off the coloured version, it could be really nice too. Alternatively you can offer it in a Vyshyvanka sleeve

    Thanks friends!

So yeah, I will have to make a color version as well in the near future. Regarding ещ the embroidered cover/sleeve, it is very difficult and requires from me more effort than making fountain pen)). I don't think I can do it. Maybe someday, for the deluxe version or LE, if God will be willing.

Hi! Not so long ago I did a review om this model, but with a custom nib and feed, but today I can show to you a retail set with original huge nib. So let’s go:

Pilot Custom Urushi w|18k <FM> nib (made in Japan) FKV-88SR-R-FM

This is top model of the Custom line and, like the younger 845, has a cylindrical shape with flat tops. The material of the body is black resin(or plastic?), but the middle part of the body is apparently made of ebonite and covered by red color Vermillion urushi lacquer(allegedly in three layers). The resin is not (red)glow in backlight, so we will consider it not precious)). The filling system is cartridge-converter, of its proprietary Pilot format, and accepts all types of converters and cartridges of its brand. Cap on thread, 2-starts thread, opening/closing in 1.5 turns.

Thanks for this review, Andrew. I've been contemplating this pen (with the FM nib) for quite some time. Your insight has been very helpful.

Grief over the tragedy of 08.07.2024, Kyiv, Okhmatdyt.
I wanted to make an other post today, but inhumane russia with its inhumane world did a massive missile attack on Ukraine and sick children. The photos is simply frightening with its horror. There are no normal words to express this yet another act of inhumanity. It is hard to even imagine what the children who were there felt and feel. (!!!!)

Hello everybody! I already had a review of one of Porsche Design studio product as P3105 model, but today I propose to look at perhaps the most famous model of this studio, TecFlex.

Porsche Design TecFlex P3110 Stainless Steel produced by Faber-Castell (made in Germany) PD988915

The shape of this model has the cigar-shape form, and made of brass plated, as brand rumor inform, by palladium. The central part of the body is made of stainless steel wire according to the technology weaving, as used in the engines of brands sports cars. The filling system is cartridge-converter of the international standard. Cap on thread, thread is short and fast with three-start thread, close/open in 2/3 of turn.
