Now the term Art Deco is quite popular in the design of fountain pens, and when fountain pen design has some differences from the usual, this term immediately appears in the name. But today in the review is a younger gold nibs model, a once famous brand, which really has elements of the Art Deco style.
Waterman Charleston Black GT (made in France) 30047
The general shape is look like classic, cylindrical with almost flat tops, but, apart from the fact that body has a slight thickening center, the main thing that attracts attention is the wide ring, which is not located in the lower part of the cap, but in the middle part of body. Due to the fact that cap also has a ring(thin), at first impression that cap is not put on pen, or not put on to the end)). Because this is a younger model with gold nib, the body material is an ordinary black plastic which is molded under pressure. The filling system is cartridge-converter of international format. Cap on thread, 2-start thread, close/open in 1 turn.
