Now the term Art Deco is quite popular in the design of fountain pens, and when fountain pen design has some differences from the usual, this term immediately appears in the name. But today in the review is a younger gold nibs model, a once famous brand, which really has elements of the Art Deco style.

Waterman Charleston Black GT (made in France) 30047

The general shape is look like classic, cylindrical with almost flat tops, but, apart from the fact that body has a slight thickening center, the main thing that attracts attention is the wide ring, which is not located in the lower part of the cap, but in the middle part of body. Due to the fact that cap also has a ring(thin), at first impression that cap is not put on pen, or not put on to the end)). Because this is a younger model with gold nib, the body material is an ordinary black plastic which is molded under pressure. The filling system is cartridge-converter of international format. Cap on thread, 2-start thread, close/open in 1 turn.

Air coolers and air conditioners are two completely different machines and serve different functions. An air cooler is a cooling device that is used to reduce the temperature of the air in a room. It works by drawing air in from outside and then blowing it out at a lower temperature. https://allcoolfans.com/best-recharg...-operated-fan/

The year has almost just begun, but I already want to share to you my big disappointment of this year. Not that I hadn’t noticed before, I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t my imagination.

@Andrew, I'm sorry for such a disappointing nib. I hope it last long enough for your exquisite drawings. But it was worth reading such an inspiring story about Fuminori Tsuchiko. Smalls acts of humanity in the inhumanity war

This is probably one of the most comfortable pens for me, both in terms of size and shape, unfortunately the nib is quite ordinary. I already reviewed the classic stripe green and stripe red models, so it’s time to look on the black one:

Pelikan Souverän® M800 Black (made in Germany)

In shape, it is a usual Pelikan model with a classic cylindrical shape and almost flat tops. The body is made from black resin and dark green ink window. The filling system is a real piston-filler. Cap on thread, with 3-way thread, and open|closure at 3/4 turn.

Hello everybody! Six years ago, as an experiment, I compared Noodler’s and KanWrite nibs and came to the conclusion that these nibs are the same and have one manufacturer. I don’t remember if there is any confirmation of this in web, but with regard to the properties of these nibs, materials and other things, it looks like the truth. Then, unfortunately, circumstances did not allow me to purchase FPR nibs for comparison. But I did it now. Since then, I’ve customized many Noodler’s Flex #6 nibs, and while I no longer have KanWrite nibs, I kept one unmodified Noodler’s nib just in case for this test. So let’s watch.

Noodler’s Flexible vs FPR Flex (made in India)

In order not to lose the feeling after the previous test, I should immediately do the planned customization nib to compare the feelings. So let’s look at:

Customized FPR Flex dualtone F nib (made in India)

The nib: ordinary #6 stainless steel nib, dual-tone, size F. The nib has a simply linear pattern, also imprinted FPR Flex and nib size F. The embossing is not deep. The surface arc curvature is differs from JoWo, Bock and Noodler’s nibs. I don’t like the big cutouts on FPRs super-flex nib, so I decided to make the same ones I did on the Noodler’s nibs.

    Hello,

Every single drawing is beautiful. For that there is no doubt, and the penmanship...... WOW, WOW, WOW, but your sketches of the men and woman in military clothing/head gear (page 13), I found too much. I shed a tear after viewing, and after that, I shed a few more. Not a political statement, I promise, but with what your Country is going through, yet beauty coming out of Ukraine in the form of your writting and sketches, I couldn't help it.

    Please stay safe,

Decided to just grind this nib to smaller size without adding more flexibility and compare my feel with other like same nibs.

Noodler’s Flexible #6 (35) nib ground to UEF (made in India)

My previously impressions from the customized Noodler's Flexible nib with added flexibility and impressions of the original non-modify Noodler's/FPR nibs and customized FPR Flex nib with added flexibility can be look above.

2.5 years ago, I already reviewed this flagship model, which is discontinued, but now I can compare the quality of the original first design and ordinary mass production. So I suggest you look at the difference and draw your own conclusions.

Conklin Mark Twain Signature Crescent-filler in Black Chased Hard Rubber (made in USA|Italy) ~2007

The shape of this pen is as close as possible to the original Conklin 2NL – it is cylindrical with a flat end on the body and a rounded end on the cap. This model is made of steel, silver and black ebonite with the signature wavy pattern applied with notches. Filling system – Crescent-filler, like the historical original with a rubber sac. Cap on thread, 4-start thread, closing/opening exactly by 1 turn.

Hello everybody! Today I have an unusual review. In general, I did not plan to buy and test this model, because it is quite expensive, and the size is too large for my hand, but it so happened that I ended up with body without nib and feed. Thanks to the responsiveness of Oliver_X on Reddit, who was the only person to respond to the community’s request for help with dimensions. I try to make a custom ebonite feed for this pen, which I want to share with you. Although the lack of an original nib does not harm the general overview and impressions.

Sailor Profit 1911 King of Pen ST Black w|custom FPR nib and ebonite feed (made in Japan) 11-6001-x20

Actually, in terms of shape, this pen(KOP) is no different from its sisters, the Sailor 1911 Large and Sailor 1911 Standard, and has a cigar-shaped form with taper rounded ends, but has the biggest size. The material of the body is a black resin that glows red in the backlight. The filling system is cartridge-converter, of its proprietary Sailor format. Cap on thread, 2-start thread, closing/opening in 1 with 3/4 turns.

Thanks Yazeh! I paid little attention to the feed because it works without any problems. The all tests(write and draw) was done using this feed. No stops when working, no rails when flexing, I wrote out full converter fill. I have some complaints about myself during production, so the second one(v.2) will be based on a different technological sequence, and I hope it will look more aesthetically pleasing)).

@Andrew_Lensky, I'm impressed. You managed to create a feed from scratch and it works. That's a major achievement for me. Thanks for sharing portraits of your heroes dead because of a mad man's madness.
