    Good morning!

All of the US inkflights have now been mailed out as of 24 May.

    Enjoy!

Well packed. No ink could possibly escape, even if a leak somehow happened. Thank you, junglejim!

So, I picked Pelikans, all with 14k B nibs ground to cursive italic, for the first tryout of the two mystery inks. I'll load the yellowish MI34 into the clear M205, and the bluish MISE MI35 into the green M400. And then we shall see what happens.

As a graduate of the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Potions & Alchemy Specialization, Class 0f 1974) I can make use of Owl Mail for direct flights to Hogwarts in Loch Shiel. From there it's just a short owl to other locations in the UK.

Based on correspondence between Pennsylvania and Ontario, I suspect Canada is recycling paper on a massive scale, including mail that has yet to be delivered.

I can neither confirm nor deny that I have received samples #34 and #35. The rumors that I am privy to their identities are unsubstantiated.

I almost would bet I will be last.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! (A BIG Holiday for us in the States)

According to the latest USPS tracking, all US ink flights have now been delivered. For international, 2/3 have been delivered and the other is now in their respective country.

    Enjoy!

I couldn't help comparing MI34 and MI35, even though each should be considered on their own merits.

I'm not a big user of yellows or bright colors, but dark orange MI34 flows so well that this particular M400 14k B nib that was ground to cursive italic many years ago is writing better with MI34 than all the prior inks I tried through it. Go figure. Wondering...what's in it?

    More later....
