I've written something out that is experimental. Both inks on the same review sheet. I'm still writing on a couple of different papers and will add them when they are finished.

I found MI#34 the orange ink flowed well and was wetter and gave me better lubrication across the page than MI#35.
MI#34 was quite a dark orange and MI#35 appeared to be a more saturated colour between a dark prussian blue and a blue-black.
I saw some shading with both inks.
MI#35 took a few more seconds to dry and exhibited some water resistance.
I thought they were both nice, well behaved inks.
Thank you junglejim for sending me these samples, and for doing such a great job to ensure they arrived here so quickly. I really appreciate the chance to try them out.

As promised I've done some more writing with these inks on some different papers. They come up quite bright when I adjust the paper base colour.
I experienced no problems at all while writing with either of these inks.

35 looks much bluer in your scans than I perceived it to be. I would say it's greener than verdigris, but maybe that was a function of a super fine nib...

I compared some blue/greens and teals against MI#35. None of them were blue enough. However, I compared the scans again with the actual writing in bright sunlight and adjusted it to a tiny little bit less blue.
I don't have Verdigris but from pictures I found of it, it looks very similar to me.
It has a typical prussian blue type chroma test.

I really like MI#34, this brownish orange is really nice.
The ink behaves really good, no flaws detected yet.
I´ve inked my Waterman 12 1/2 with it, one of my favorite pens.
This pen is quite wet, but the ink plays really well with it.

Also my son started testing it with his TWSBI 580 and likes it (he always complain that my many blue inks are boring )

I can definitely say that I do not own this ink.

I am really enjoying MI34 in my correspondence, and as a result, the neglected Pelikan B cursive italic nib has a new lease on life. Thank you junglejim!

Just a quick little note that the ink reveal for MI #34 and #35 will be on 17 June, which will be 2 weeks since the last participant received their ink flight. That should give the others time to evaluate their samples.

Thank you Jim, for your efforts and expenditure setting this up. I might be a little nearer 17 June with my reviews, as my wife and I welcomed our first daughter on Tuesday. Time with pens and ink is scarce at the moment!

I would appreciate at least a week more (I was also handicapped the last week). 6 days left is not much….

Since we have two requests for an extension (I'm sure BayesianPrior is going to suffer from a lack of sleep for a while...), I'll be happy to push back the ink reveals until 24 June, if it's okay with the majority of the participants.

Thank you Jim - I remember Raffi from my childhood, along with Sharon, Lois & Bram.

A few years ago I found an old audio cassette while helping my mother move house. When we played it, we heard me as a small child 'singing' Down By the Bay and my father's voice encouraging me in the background. That is the only recording of my late father's voice and it was a very special find.

A pen friend in California sent a postcard written with MB poppy red, and it’s a dead ringer for color. So I decided to toss the guess into the ring. :-)

I really enjoy the properties of MI34, but I've had a closer comparison of MI35 with R&K Verdigris. I think I can rule it out, but it's VERY close.
