Sheaffer Bottled Ink hard to find

Recently, a fellow fpg member noted that Sheaffer bottled inks were approaching the "unobtanium" status. A quick check at all my trusty online sources showed that almost all colors are now on back-order or out of stock in the US.

I called the AT Cross Customer Service number at 1-800-282-7677 (now owners of Sheaffer) and spoke to LaToya, and she told me that the past 3 ink shipments from Slovakia had been back-ordered due to Covid. They are having difficulty at the ink production factory with everything from sick or quarantined workers to lack of raw materials in the supply chain (including glass bottles).

LaToya reiterated that the bottled ink line has not been discontinued and they are hopefully getting their next shipment in late September. Just a FYI for our members.
