Please tell me about my Meisterstuck

This pen was given to a friend's daughter in college. She had no interest in it and left it at home when she moved away, so my friend gave it to me. I'm certain the daughter never inked it, and I've inked it exactly twice. It just doesn't suit me. So I'm thinking about selling it on eBay to raise funds for a different pen, but I don't know anything about Montblancs, not even enough to describe it properly. I'm hoping the kind and generous geeks on this forum will help. Would you please tell me exactly what I've got here? Thanks in advance for sharing your time and wisdom!

You have a Montblanc 144 Solitaire (Citrine color). You've got quite a good pen there and I believe it is a rare color. You've also got the box and signed paperwork, which will increase the value some. I saw one on eBay listed for $1,250, but I would assume that is retail and I doubt you could sell it for that. I did a quick Google search and I couldn't find anything comparable. I saw a ballpoint sold on eBay for $341.00, so I would guess that it would be worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $500. But, I would get a second opinion from someone who knows more than I do.
