80's MB 146. Flexy fine single tone nib and split feed. MB Royal Blue Ink. I journal with it.
Lamy 2k with BB cursive italic. Lamy Turquoise ink. I copy good quotes in a small book.
Steel Lamy 2k F nib. Lamy Blue. Jot notes with it.

There are a couple of others with ink, scattered on the desk; but those are the 3 I'm primarily using.

My 823 has been inked only with Tsuki-yo since I bought it... so I have to say Good Choice!

The one I used most often today was this small Sheaffer flat top. It has "3-25" on the nib, and I've seen that used as the model number for pens of this kind, although I'm no expert. I got it for $18 shipped a few years ago, put a new sac in it and aligned the nib. It writes very nicely, and I'm not sure why I don't use it more often. De Atramentis Document Blue in it.

The Wyvern Perfect with Diamine Regency Blue has been on duty today with a wee bit of a back-up (I was in one room and the Wyvern was in another) from the Conway Stewart Churchill with Oxford Blue.

    My ink log tells me...

    • TWSBI Vac 700R (F), Noodler's Ink Purple Heart (cleaned out last week)
    • Moonman C1 (M), Noodler's Ink Manjiro Nakahama Whaleman's Sepia
    • Pilot Custom 74 (F), Pilot Blue-Black
    • Sailor 1911 Compass (MF), Sailor Black (cartridge)
    • Franklin-Christoph Model 46 (F, SIG), Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-Gao

That Moonman claims to have a fine nib, but it writes like a medium. Otherwise, an enjoyable, inexpensive eyedropper that works well so far.

Sheaffer Prelude, with a very nice broad nib. I usually have it inked with Diamine Imperial Purple, but have decided to change it out to Troublemaker Simoun.

I am currently using a Bexley Poseidon II Magnum in Mandarin Yellow (piston filler). I don’t know if this was a production model or a prototype, but it simply has “checked all the boxes” for me, especially coupled with a Franklin-Christoph Masuyama Needlepoint nib. The weight, balance, and design are amazing all around. (Has anyone else had that experience with this pen / model?)

I am using Monteverde Documental Blue ink, which so far has rinsed out of the pen fairly easily, dries relatively quickly, and is permanent enough to hold up to a dousing with iced tea.

I recently acquired a demonstrator version of this same pen with red cap and piston knob (thank you Community Member - you know who you are), but I am waiting on some Waterman Serenity Blue, as I don’t know how the Monteverde will work in a demonstrator.

    Here is a writing sample.

P.S. If anybody has any ideas for “safe” relatively water resistant, quick drying, minimal feathering, inks (variety of colors), I’d enjoy your wisdom.

I've always found iron galls satisfy all of those criteria. If you are hesitant about them, you can always start with the milder formulations (sacrificing some water resistance in the process), like Platinum Blue Black or some of the KWZ IGs, which come in a staggering array of colours.

That Fairchild is my favorite; it has the best nib among my dip pens. These 19th-century gold pens require a traditionally light hand (which I don't have), regular tweaking and a well-maintained tip (since there is no iridium), so I tend to abandon dip pens one-by-one until I am forced to fix the bunch.
