Today I am using my Spoke Design Icon Black with red sleeve and grip section with a fine nib filled with Montblanc Corn Poppy.
Inkpenlover (June 2nd, 2021)
I posted a picture in the "written in fountain pen" thread. Besides the Pilot Custom Heritage 91 and 1930s Sheaffer Balance pictured, I have ink in a Pilot Elite, and a Pilot Custom Heritage 92. I like Pilots.
The Elite has De Atramentis Fog Grey, the others have some sort of De Atramentis Blue, Dark Blue, Blue, and Cyan. I like blues. And even the Fog Grey is sort of bluish in a good light.

Pilot Custom 823 with Iroshizuku tsuki-yo (the only ink it's ever had in it)
Lamy 2000 with Diamine Lierre Sauvage
Wing Sung 698 with Oster Fire Engine Red (really want to replace this with a Pilot 74)
All are nearing the end of current fills, so... I may give them a clean and a rest. There's plenty of other pens that deserve a turn!
Inkpenlover (June 2nd, 2021)
Parker UK Aero Duofold Junior with satisfying soft medium nib, and Parker 51 with fine nib, uninked for a long time because I'm not fond of fine nibs and especially not in Parker 51s. But this time I am getting a pleasantly sturdy line. Both pens filled with Pelikan 4001 black.

That Fairchild is my favorite; it has the best nib among my dip pens. These 19th-century gold pens require a traditionally light hand (which I don't have), regular tweaking and a well-maintained tip (since there is no iridium), so I tend to abandon dip pens one-by-one until I am forced to fix the bunch.
You are right Fred, I agree completely ...
I have several dip pens 5-6 and they are century old antique pens. Out of them I have the top pen Mabie Todd but It is without the original Nib. ( I am waiting fo my luck to get it one day ) all the nibs are very fragile and as they have no toppings and already worn out or having lot of issues of alignments. Splatter every time as they are not tolerable for pressure or for unbalanced slight hand movements. Right paper and ink too change the whole dance, and makes you frustration.
