Gorgeous pen, Fred! I like those flat-top Sheaffers and I've had one or two but only in black.

I bought this pen already fully restored from Ron, a fine example of his skill. I like early Sheaffer black flat-tops from before the age of white dots. This pen is a firm extra-fine.

Wow I LOVE this. Is this a recent purchase? I thought I saw something similar on Ron's site a few weeks or months back.

That's likely the one...bought almost a year ago, but I did post something about it more recently.

I posted this in two other fountain pen forums, so I wouldn't want to neglect this one.

This Parker 51 aerometric had been gunked up with something, not sure exactly what, and I'd had it lying around for a long time unused. Regular "de-gunkers" hadn't worked, but a few days ago I tried Rapido-Eze, really letting it soak in. Now it's working great. Namiki Blue ink. The picture also shows my non-fountain pen backups, a Parker 0.9 mm mechanical pencil and a Fisher Space Pen.

Can't remember what the materials are, other than they are exotic woods, but one is fitted with a Zebra G nib and the other with a Gillot 303

Fred, these pens are absolutely great instruments. If you have the original nibs then it is the real value too.
I have couple of other victorian pen and the nibs are very fragile. They are so old they have lots of signs of they age of using. But they are great.
I am after a Fairchild pen and I still did not got it yet.
