Default THE driest blue, blue black...

I am looking for the driest blue, blue black ink. My new TWSBI 580AL with a 1.1 stub nib in Prussian Blue is a gusher. MUCH wetter writing than any other stub nib I own. I have tried Pelikan 4001 Blue Black, and Noodler's Q-Ternity (terrible bleed through). Any suggestions from you ink mavens?

At some point, the viscosity of the ink - or lack of it - is not going to overcome a nib/feed setup that isn't optimal. I was going to suggest the Pelikan, and I kinda think that not much short of filling your pen with sand is going to be too much drier. Are the tines significantly more open than the majority of your pens? And, in the most extreme case, are you certain there aren't any micro-cracks in the barrel, or ill-fitting section, that might let a little air leak into the system? I'm thinking out loud a bit because you've already tried a very dry ink (Pel).

Diamine Registrars Ink. Any drier, it would come as a powder.
    Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.

I have a bottle of the old formula of Lamy Blue-Black and it is dry. I only have one other Ble_black to compare to (Diamine) and Lamy is definitely dry.

Another +1 to registrars, or Kyo-no-oto Aonibi for a fabulous colour and searing dryness!

Platinum Blue Black isn’t too wet. Not really dry, but I would say it’s more on the dry side…. Unfortunately, it’s also not very black. Still a nice muted blue, though. Iron gall, but I’ve used it for months now in both gold and steel nib pens with no issues.

As I've reported previously, the Colorverse Office inks are generally dry. The permanent blue, especially so.

    Hi,

yes, Diamine Registrar's is a very good and very dry ink.
Even a bit dryer is the Bible ink sold by the Gutenberg shop... strong IG, too.
