Default Aurora 2cart - removing nib + feed

has anyone an idea on how to remove both pieces from the feed ?
I can't get the pen to write properly.
If I put the tip of the nib on a piece of blotting paper a lot of ink comes down.
If I start writing a feeble line of ink is depodited on the page. Words are very faint.

I used ultrasonic cleaner, I used the syringe bulb and water comes out of the nib, not great squirts but comes out fine.
I'm using Waterman's Harmonious Green which looks extremely pale on paper. I filled an original cartridge with a syringe.
Rodhia A5 blocs as writing support.

I have inked an 888P with Parker's Quink Black and I do not have any problems writing with it. I'm using Platinum converter.

    Thank you
    M

    Is it a modern or 50s duo-cart?

Have you tried using the Platinum converter or cartridges? Also consider the Platinum adapter to International Standard.

    Might this help?

I know it's in Italian, but seems fairly self-explanatory (and perhaps you even understand Italian!)

@mizgeorge thank you for the video, and in Italian 🙂
Extracted nib and feed after watching it. The ink canal was clogged under the nib, so i put it in an ultrasonic bath with some Zest-it. After reassembly it still writes very feebly. If I shake the pen the ink comes out dark though. Looking at the tip of the nib with a loupe the tines touch each other. Could this be the problem?

Yes it could - they should just lightly brush together but not be tight at all. Start with the finest shim you have (either film or thin brass) and keep checking.

Before shimming I simply try running a thumbnail down the slit. Quite often that is all that's needed and worth a try before bending stuff.

Shall I do it with nib and feed in the section or I have to remove the nib and work on it alone?

I always start with everything assembled and inked; that way I can make baby steps and constant checks

I have tried by pressing the nib, as if I was writing, on a piece of paper placed over a coaster. Writing improved, wetter, I did it again and it got better. As the 2cart is now writing the way I feel comfortable with I'm happy. I've orderd two shimming sheets just in case though.
Thank you @jar and @mizgeorge for your support :-)
