Hakase Sepia, to be sure!
Looks like Platinum Classic Sepia Black to me...
Although, reading the label, it is probably Stipula Calamo Sepia!
Vintage. Cursive italic. Iron gall.

Yummm...the original Sepia...lol

Dip pens only, I think. It probably would support life languishing inside a fountain pen.

This is a cooking sauce and not meant for really writing.
I have seen this is in use in kitchens. EX. making colour full Pasta. They were using black colour.
The colour pigments comes from the Calamari or CUTTLE FISh pocket. ( remember their arsenal to camouflage to fight or flight action in water??? )
As I have seen the concentrated colour paste ( with all the veggie and oil mix ) the consistency is similar like to the texture of MARMITE. or Tar/tincture .
Very strong smell/aroma. Definitely this make pen nib bend as if it to say NOOOOOOOOO!!!
(I am very amazed why the ink producers did not adapt the apiculture to maintain and farm cuttlefish from the beginning of the art of writing.)
