    Default Could someone identify this Instrument

    Hello guys I found this tool in a flea market.

    It clearly shows this a tool belongs to product of Perry and company. The of Birmingham Pen Co.
    Can anyone have a idea what is this or why it carries the brand name of a Pen nibs???

    I agree that it looks like a letter opener. It appears to be bent in some of the photos. That could be from someone trying to open somethings else and bending in the effort if it is.

    Is it just me or are there some tiny thumbnail images on there? Are they exactly the same as the bigger ones?

    @ Chrissy you are right. these are few images I found in a site. They are very bad and useless as with the images can't get any idea .
    This is why the Telephone photography is bad sometimes.The thumb nail photo shows some thing but it not clear.
    I think this is a letter opener Or could be a Post master 's dragger.
