    Default Very Expensive waterman

I can't imagine paying this amount for a pen. It is still a waterman that is unique in design of colours.
It is also having that WATERMAN'S MASTER CRAFT TOP QUALITY NIB IN VINTAGE SHAPE OF FLEXY design that is not in production anymore.
It has all that qualifications for that price tag.
But what is your idea on throwing that money to get this pen other than buying a Vintage waterman's that is on the way down below ?
A key hole No 7 waterman for an example??

Seems there are several such exotics listed and at what I consider rather hearty asking prices. But as with so many things, others may well disagree.

It's one thing to list pens at those sorts of prices but it's quite another to actually sell them. All of the expensive prices on his feedback are crossed out where he has accepted a different offer.

The asking price is besides the point. What did you offer? I hope you still left room for the back and forth of negotiation.

I did not do any offer...
Looking at the prizes for other items I feel I am crazy if I do any offer.

For an ONOTO Pen prized way high US $3,719.99
    Approximately £2,698.87

    For a vintage Mont Blanc,
    US $3,999.99
    Approximately £2,902.01

Those are silly prices. Specially the Montblanc 642 that is described as "Used, almost good
    * Pen tip bent and repaired
    * There is a slight dent on the cap
    "
On the other hand the Onoto "has ink dripping. It is not a malfunction."

I find it interesting to look, but I don't want to be responsible for caring for rare stuff.
