I just had these two pens
Mabie Todd and Waterman over and under Feeds.
They both got broken while trying to remove the nib and feed. It happened when I intended to clean and restore them when they came to me.
Then they were just hanging in a spare repair tub and I thought to give it a a try to get them back to work.
I used a glue (Epoxy resin ) and cured them in several layers piled/shaved and polished( with a smooth sanding paper and nail piles ) for several days.
During that I cleaned the pens, POLISHED AND GOT BACK TO A NEW SHINING CONDITIONS. They were HR pens had lot of micro scratches signs and signatures of witnessing the tear-and wear of the century old use.
These are two simple "before and after photos".
They are fine and back With my pen lot. Look amazing and ready to go for another round of a century.
