I just received a new TWSBI Diamond Mini White RoseGold V2 fountain pen with a medium nib. And the nib just doesn't feel right. I have a Parker Duofold with a medium gold nib, and a Jinhao Century with an Edison medium nib. The Parker feels great, with a lot of feedback - sort of like writing with a #2 pencil, no matter the paper or ink. The Edison nib is as smooth as glass, and very quiet on the paper - again no matter the paper or ink. The TWSBI nib, despite being a medium, has just a bit narrower point. Writing with it reminds me of writing with a cheap, fine nib. It's in perfect alignment, but feels scratchy, especially on upstrokes, where it feels like it's trying to dig in just a bit.

I've opened up the tines for a wetter ink flow, as much as I dare. It just doesn't feel right to me - not rewarding to write with. It might just be me, but I'd love to hear from other TWSBI owners. This is such a beautiful pen. I wish it wrote as well as my other two nice pens...
