Sailor 1911 Large PenPoint Special Edition, Zoom nib, Inden-urushi Pouch

This is a rare and stunning store exclusive from PenPoint in 2017. It's the large size, uncommon in store exclusives, and has the PenPoint nib engraving on the 21k nib. It also includes a never-used Inden pouch, a traditional Japanese leather goods technique using Urushi lacquer to adorn deer hide leather.

The pen body is a gorgeous deep vegetal green color with a fine sparkle to it similar to a bass boat or hot rod car. The sparkles are finer and tighter than some of Sailor's other materials which have a more glitter-like effect. The Zoom nib is smooth and wet and displays excellent line varation depending on angle and puts out copious amounts of ink. Would be a perfect candidate for a Naginata-togi or architect style grind as well.

The pen has been inked once, used only at the desk, cleaned thoroughly, and returned to the box. The original box includes all papers, sealed ink carts, and a brand new sealed converter.
