Looks more like paint, kind of goopy. I wouldn't put that in my pen even if i liked black ink.

Oh, heavens, I make no claims for fp-safe use. I just thought it was an interesting development.

There was someone here putting RIT dye in their pens. Perhaps they could take one for the team?

You could probably eyedropper it into a Preppy for testing purposes.

Or just grab a $4 Jinhao and see how it goes.

If that stuff doesn't come with a hazmat warning, it probably should.

A quick look at the bloke's website and it is evident that this ink is for calligraphy (think dip pens and brushes) and artwork --- not fountain pens.

Whose hand is that? I would love to know how long it took to get it clean afterwards.

I'm careful about what i use with brushes, too. I don't use them with just anything. In fact, i wash them out more carefully than i do fountain pens because it's easier to ruin them with gunk than it is a metal pen.

It must be an ink for the tattoos.
If you have an idea to do a surprise tattoo to your mate while he sleep this is an ideal stuff.

I suspect that end result of such a prank -- a surprise tattoo -- would be the prankster being fitted for a pair of Quik-set cement swim fins before his or her attempted cross-channel swim.

I wonder what ink they used the Penal Colony. Kafka didn’t mention it, or maybe i just forgot.

Would it be OK in a Safety pen... like the one by Noodlers?

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
    A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
    A: Yes it is!
    M: No it isn't!

Very nice! There was a time when I thought I wanted the most blackity-black black ink there was. I learned to appreciate the variations in the color, but I keep coming back to that idea.

I think this ink might be one for my Preppies or my Noodler's Safety Pen.

I've come to enjoy all sorts of "black" inks and tones.
