    I must get my hands on some to try. It is obviously not intended to be used in an FP but I currently have a very large unused collection of dip nibs that need exercise.

    I doubt anyone here say it would be ok. Most would say get an inexpensive pen, $4-10, I'd say broad nib for sure. Be ok w disposal if it quits working. It might work in some pens and not others. I see experimentation in your future, You might try asking for donation of said pens for trial and promise to report, successes and failures. Id send you one. To be more valid i should be the same pen or type f pen but most of use would want to hear about your trials however done.
