Default Help identifying a ballpoint pen

A friend recently gifted me with this ballpoint pen (see pictures below). It’s a bit scuffed up and it appears that a goldish colored coating on the body has been worn away (there are traces of it). I’d appreciate it if anyone has an idea of the manufacturer and date (or general time period) when the pen might have been made. Thanks!

Looks like it could be a this century tourist type pen from the East
