david-p, while you wait for the arrival of the mystery inks, can you share the name of the Austrian company that manufactures ink under labels of major pen companies (e.g., Montblanc)?

I collected mystery inks from the post office today. Many thanks, Jim!

Fred: As to the company that manufactures ink here, I have no idea. I will look into it. I keep reading that Monteverde inks are made in Austria, but I have never seen any in the shops here. Which other companies have ink made her in Austria, do you know? Almost all the inks I have have been bought from Stilo e Stile in Rome by mail order.

    Was doing a chroma....
The inks seeped in the glasses...

    It reminded me of:

Brandy/ Cognac/ Whisky and Bombay sapphire gin

This is my coffee filter chroma I think I'm going to really like this color inked up.

Surprisingly this chroma looks very close to another mystery ink chroma I did but I can't remember the number or how the color was I just have the old chroma that I sat side by side with this one

    Thanks

@Sailor Paper towel works fine for me. Just a drop then standing it in a glass of water...et voilą...

This ink recalled Leonard Cohen's last masterpiece..... written with a Lamy Safari broad....

We must all be thinking along the same lines.

Here is my chroma. This is a simple coffee filter suspended over a bit of water. It appears that I let it go too long. Also, the scan does not pick up the pink/purple tones in the middle. Very interesting chroma:

    Here's a little writing sample:

This should read Mystery Ink #36. This ink reminds me very much of Kuretake Kyara, but this ink is a lighter and does not have the agarwood scent. I am enjoying the shading with this ink, though.[
