They paint your discontent. And yet they are MY brushes.
Good luck with your search.

They do, I can accept that, but it is what it is.

Are you certain that the M8xx will be large enough for you?
Consider Franken pens with pelikan nib units. I have one with a m800 and another with a m1000 (opus 88 and custom ebonite).
This thread has had gone on so long that I can't recall...Have you stated what defines a "luxury" pen to you?

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
A: Yes it is!
M: No it isn't!

I asked which makers you’d dealt with and you declined to answer.
Since Edison was the brand that prompted that side discussion, I will narrow that question and ask specifically if you have initiated any communication with that brand.
Personally, I found the buying process specifically to be quite pleasant and befitting of a premium maker. By contrast, my most recent experience with Montblanc after sales service was ultimately resolved satisfactorily but involved more grief and headache than I thought appropriate for the brand, and that involved a pen roughly double the cost of the Edison I bought.

No, I won't press for further details however I do sometimes get the sense that there may be an arbitrary standard that there may be a standard at play here that...well...really no one is capable of meeting. Perhaps I'm wrong.
Still, though, a yes/no answer to that question might have been nice...
My standards are likely the same as most, basic courtesy, respect, and non prejudice. Oh, I don't appreciate attempts to sell me bs stories. And yes to your question, Edison was one of those whose communication left me feeling cold.

How is it that you feel the need to insult me? I asked a simple question. If you look at post 149 with someone - you? - speaking directly about me in a very poor light, and then you continued on. I can't find the origin quote and I don't want to be upset over it if you weren't speaking about me (not helping), though it is very unclear.

Fortunately, there are a few key features to look for that make a route finder the best for you. First, you want to make sure that the route finder has accurate information about the roads and highways you’ll be traveling. This means that the route finder should have up-to-date maps and travel times. https://routefinderhq.com/best-fish-finder-gps-combo/
I completely understand your desire to own a beautiful fountain pen, even if it's more of a luxurious indulgence rather than a practical necessity. Sometimes, the aesthetic appeal and craftsmanship of an item can hold great value and bring joy in their own right. It's fascinating how different individuals have varying preferences when it comes to pens and their collections.
Speaking of unique and specialized craftsmanship, it reminds me of the world of Sitecore development. Just as a fountain pen can be seen as a work of art, Sitecore development involves creating beautiful and functional digital experiences. Sitecore, as a versatile content management system, offers a wide range of possibilities for crafting personalized websites, managing content efficiently, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
While pens and Sitecore development may seem like disparate topics, they both involve a keen eye for detail, craftsmanship, and the pursuit of creating something extraordinary. It's interesting how different passions and interests can intersect and inspire us in unexpected ways.
