The Department of Health and Human Services sent a letter to the Wuhan Institute of Virology that said:

"NIH determined that..WIV conducted an experiment that violated the terms of the grant regarding viral activity, which possibly did lead..to..unacceptable outcomes"

That's bureaucrat language saying taxpayers paid for gain of function through a grant from the NIH that ended up creating a virus in a Chinese lab that killed a few million people worldwide, so they won't be getting any more money for at least 10 years.

People should go to jail, but one in particular will be enjoying his "royalties" for patents for something he never made.

He went on to lie about it to Congress, among other lies, like:

The mortality rate of covid 19, which is not 3% but .02%.
Masks - he said they didn't work before he said they did work before he said we should double-mask, before he was proven wrong.
"Vaccines" - he said they worked and if you got the vaccine you wouldn't get infected, or transmit the virus, or be hospitalized or die. He also lied about injuries like myocarditis.

Misinformation led to Covid deaths. It is well documented for those who want to know. People drinking cures and poison was more common that we'd like to think. Patients cursing ICU nurses believing the virus was not real. Some blamed the nurse and the hospitals for their illnesses. They refused to distance and refused to mask. Wearing a mask was looked down upon. It was the most insane actions by otherwise sane people I had ever experienced. Our office alone resulted in 8 cases of Covid and all 8 had refused to mask while in the office. The crazy part, these were RN's.

I have no problem with Fauci making money. No one here in his profession would not take whatever benefits that came as a result of their work in the area of infectious disease. He didn't create a virus in order to benefit, and that is what is being suggested. Sure there were blunders and mistakes made, it is called life, in my book. If we are now in a position to blame people for making educated or unintentional mistakes, we are a sad lot.

John Campbell's misinformation made the rounds and was frequently posted on this forum.

There is a common theme that was put forward the entire Covid time frame and that was to dismiss anything that the recognized experts were saying, and the adoption of any fringe groups were saying. This led to needless accounts of human misery including the professionals trying to care for these patients.

At this point, most of the people I am around have come around to at least getting the vaccines even if they didn't want to. As a results, our lives have return to normal. I am very happy to support the pharmaceutical industry by which Americans and others globally can benefit from their infrastructure to manufacture needed medications. Pfizer and its German partner were able to quickly retool to produce the first vaccines. I wouldn't expect them not to profit. I also think pharma should have to compete for government contracts. They benefit from the American taxpayer.

He has a PhD. He has spent a career as a healthcare educator. He reviews and explains current studies from medical journals and puts them in layman’s terms.

You are a pharma salesman. You simply assert it’s misinformation, with no supporting evidence.

I was a veterinarian pharmaceutical rep before becoming a human pharmaceutical rep. And no, I would be in jail if I had advocated a product without an approved indication. A nurse would also go to jail. Good thing he’s in Great Britain.

I am waiting to book the updated Covid vaccine. I've had no issues with either the influenza or RSV vaccine. A young man whose father is a surgeon recently remarked that his father wears a mask about 12 hours a day and can't understand why they have become such an issue. I agree
