Fade to Grey - P51

I am guessing that this 51 has been left in daylight with its cap on for some time, perhaps years, the original Dove Grey has been preserved inside the cap.

As I recall the blind cap is not the same stuff as the barrel and has not faded in the same manner.


I am not sure that I would want to correct the fading, even if that was possible, this is one situation where a pen can show its history.
