I bought this Sheaffer Vacuum Fill pen long ago, mostly for its Western fine Triumph nib, a thing of beautiful design and perfect manufacture. I had it restored and it became a favourite. It must have been during one of our many house moves that it was safely stored away and subsequently forgotten about.
It was only at the weekend that I found it after many years on the MIA list. To my surprise it filled perfectly. I've never known much about Sheaffer's many models. It's clearly a quality pen with its white dot, broad plated cap band and two-tone nib. I can only assume that it's older than I am and cost quite a bit when new. It's 13cm capped. It writes beautifully and I'm very lucky to have found it after all these years. Could someone tell me its model name and date?
