    We should really start a new thread but Velocettes were made until 1971, I haven't researched this but after 1971 you could find Velocette engines in a few specials, one that I recall from about 1973 was a very pretty Indian Velocette - that is the US bike maker not the country. Perhaps they were marrying already built engines to any makers cycle parts.

    This Venom belonging to the aged owner is an F registration which stands for 1968.

    I got rid of my 50 year old Websters, in not needing it. What I needed was the version after mine that told me when the word entered the language. That I get on line.
    I'm writing a western can can not use words that are too young; like short list from 1927.
