I wouldn't go hiking with that patch in any French speaking country/ region
Well, they started it, so ....

"After traveling with Lewis and Clark to the Pacific, Colter left the expedition during its return trip down the Missouri in 1807 to join two fur trappers headed back into the wilderness. He spent the next three years wandering through the northern Rocky Mountains, eventually finding his way into the valley at the base of the Tetons, which would later be called Jackson Hole.

Other adventurers followed in Colter’s footsteps, including the French-Canadian trappers who gave the mountain range the bawdy name of “Grand Tetons,” meaning “big breasts” in French."

A software patch was bound to be something that people would think of; I'm only surprised there weren't more. Since deciding to participate in the last part of this, I've been doing my drawings at least a few days in advance, too.

The sketch today was inspired by (suprise, surprise!) vintage illustration of Mr. Sly "The Slitherer", the giant land snail. These grew as big as a tiny puppy.

By the way, that nice 14K nib and section didn't come originally with the pen.

    31 - Risk. Alternate title, "Who's a Good Boy?"

This was the final sheet in this sketchbook, although I did later go back and do an unrelated pencil sketch on the other side.

This has been an interesting digression from the things that I had been trying to draw. Although I won't go back and do the approximately half that I skipped, if we do this again next year, perhaps I can do them all.

I've enjoyed seeing everyone's interpretations of the different prompts, and look forward to seeing what today will produce. Happy Halloween everyone!
