Really like both of them mizgeorge. There's something so relaxing with monochromatic sketches....

@voiren, why the otter? (I'm completely ignorant of carrot, so bare with me)

@usk15 welcome and also to your daughter. Another parent/child team! This yearly FPGeeks tradition is getting merrier each year

@mizgeorge I really like your first fan image, it's relaxed, and almost like a cute icon.

I'm not really up to participating in this myself. Ink is not a comfortable medium for me, although it helps a bit if I rough it out with pencil first. And drawing from imagination is a bit harder than from a model. So for the most part I'm just spectating here. But that fits in with today's theme.

The longer I hesitated to join in, the larger the task became. Anyway, here’s a catch-up drawing for days 1-8.

Imagination, you say. Alright. Here's a steampunk-inspired "watch", as in "watch the sand trickle down".

    Wow! Firstly, a warm welcome!
And secondly, that is a pretty creative way to summarize 8 days of prompts. I almost want to see how you do the next 8 in one sketch

Very clever! ... but would have been interesting to see how you put all 31 prompts in one sketch.

Cool usk and little usk great input.
    Keep it coming.
I especially like the colored Spirit, Vessel and Raven, well done 👍
From the monochrom ones Knot and Raven.

Yazeh, it seems you are dreaming from Asian beauties hiding behind fans. 😜, well done.

Voiren, are you planning to create a continuous story over the whole Inktober with the same main character?
Cool approach, I saw such an approach once or twice over the last years on DA.
Always appeal to me, but weave a story over all prompts seemed always too difficult for me.

Mizgeorge, I really like your second Fan, well done.
Coming out of the own comfort zone is something good.

Penwash your style is always recognizable, well done.
It seems you like to draw mechanical things, and you are good at it.

Cool approach catbert to catch up, welcome to the thread, it’s never too late to participate.
You have to finish what you started.

Well done kaputnik, I see it that way, such a challenge is always an opportunity to come out of the own comfort zone and learn something new.
    Keep it coming.
