    Default Omas repair

I have an Omas Extra that’s dates from the early 1990s. It is faceted celluloid and the lowest bottom cap ring below the Greek Key band is loose and falling out of its groove. Apparently the facets pose a problem for some repairers (as opposed to a round cap which I gather are easier to repair). Can someone recommend a repair person who can make this repair? I’ve been waiting almost a year for a well-known nibmeister/repair guru in Los Angeles to handle it but he is shortstaffed and I have lost patience. I really want this fixed up if possible. Thanks

Maybe Ron Zorn at Main Street Pens might be able to do this. He's a member on here

I already checked with Ron. The faceted nature of the cap would be a problem for him.
