The predominant theme in my collection would have to be small maker pens with jowo nibs that have been modified by nib specialists.

Having said that my collecting days were done, I just had my pen lust aroused by the Nakaya website, one with a light briar finish.

A bit less costly than most. Still, $400 is a bite.

Also saw a sketchy translation that made me laugh:

Good thread. My "themes" have varied over the years, but with a few exceptions it's mainly about how they feel in the hand.

I seem to have an affinity for piston fillers in general, Pelikan 400 series, small Omas (Dama) models, and Kaweco Sports (preferably the older piston fillers).

@christof - Nice collection, but your quote of my post altered it to something I didn't say. M400's are all piston fillers (and I like the old ones and the new).

I was referring to Kaweco Sports, where the new ones are cart/converter and the old ones were piston.

Yes of course. Quotation just edited.
    Nice Kawecos!
