Default Several photos I took while I was still learning to take pictures of fountain pens

These are obviously novice. I did take photography and film classes in a former life, but l allowed myself to get way out of practice. These are obviously images of me finding my way again. I am starting to get much better now.

Providing adequate light is a key.

I would like to take candid shots but have settled on a reliable setup based on something like this - Good luck

    Absolutely,

play with multiple light sources and their reflections on your nibs,
take some time, much time (...), think about what is great about you pen and how to get that onto film/sensor...

It didn't seem like that there was much of a learning curve while you were 'learning'. Really great photos.
