This nib is used by many for calligraphy and is a joy to write with. This is also a pre-2016 nib which you can tell by the gold braiding around the border of the nib. The newer specialty nibs no longer have the braiding. The black pen is a standard Sailor 1911 for size comparison. I’ll ship this pen to the lower 48 for $225 OBO. Reducing the price to $250, I got this pen confused with another sailor I have with the togi (naginata) emperor nib. Sorry for the confusion.

It's 5 inches capped or 127mm long.
