User Liamtyr? Has Anyone purchased from this user? I’m a bit concerned.

I sent Liamtyr $225 yesterday and he advised me that he’d send me a tracking number this morning. He did not and it’s now been 24 hours since I paid him.

I hope I’m wrong and I will correct this if I am, but it is concerning that the communication between us ceased after he was paid.

**UPDATE 10/15/21** Liamtyr sent me a tracking number the day after the day that he said he would send me a tracking number. I don’t want to leave the impression with my comments that he is anything but a good citizen.

I wouldn't sweat it yet. Assuming you did not do anything stupid like pay F&F or otherwise expose yourself needlessly.

I did the tracking number was giving me fits but my box came as expected

Not sure why his tracking numbers are off

Probably because he hand writes everything

If he wrote and said he shipped this morning

I would expect you to have your box and pen around Tuesday

I dont know the user however If you did not use PayPal goods and services you just sent someone free money.

There are two ways you can send money with Paypal: Goods & Services and Friends & Family. Transactions made using Friends & Family aren't covered under PayPal's Buyer Protection, so if you send money that way and get ripped off, you have no recourse.

Good to know! And, I should add, I've had a few transactions where folks have kept me waiting a couple of days. It always makes me nervous, but so far everything has always been fine. No matter folks' intentions, once the money's in hand the urgency lessens.

I am really sorry for causing such concerns with everyone. It wasnt my intention but in truth I honestly thought I replied but I hadnt. I got a little flustered that day since my wife was returning from Colombia and I was so excited to see her again. I have been around the FP community for many years and mostly as a purchaser and rarely as a seller until recently.
