Default MB Namesakes you'd like to meet

Of all the many famous people that Montblanc have created pens to honor, who would you most like to interact with and how? For example, take a class from, exchange letters with, share a meal with, take a walk with, etc.?

A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
    A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'

I'd like to meet Oscar Wilde, but the pen Mont Blanc tagged with his name is monstrously ugly.

Elizabeth 1, she and her father changed the world.

In reality, I cannot think of any of the POA LEs namesakes that I would not like to meet, can you imagine having dinner with Napoleon?

I'd probably opt for Kafka but not in person....TB is too contagious.

Drinks with Hemingway, Interesting is one word.

A Hemingway is my favourite MB pen, drinks with Hemingway, hell no.

All depends on your point of view, I wouldn't have a drink with Hemingway, you are welcome to your fantasy.

I can imagine there may be a couple things I could learn from Hemingway.
Any of those folks would be awesome to meet and chat with.

My heroes with namesake MB pens are Mark Twain and Fyodor Dostoyevsky. I'd imagine a drink with Twain would be delightful and a drink with Dostoyevsky would be harrowing at best. I'd give a digit from each limb for either opportunity I think.

I think I'd choose two G's - Gandhi and Garbo (either together or separately!). Both fascinating characters.

Gandhi is obvious to me, but why Garbo (if I may ask)?

I'd love to know about her early life, and about her friendship with Gunilla Bernadotte - they came from such very different backgrounds but had a clear bond that transcended this. I think perhaps the fact that so little is known about her after her early 'retirement' that makes her such an enigma.

Is there a Jack Kerouac WE yet?

It'd have to be a pencil, yeah? (I know there isn't a Kerouac.)

For writers, I'd pick Oscar Wilde over Hemingway. Seems there'd be more conviviality with Wilde.
