Croxley with correct Croxley cap, at last :-)
I don't think this can be considered as a real repair but ..... I bought this pen at an auction together with other three pens.
They all needed new sacs, easy peasy. The sections all went in the ultrasonic bath as well.
The Croxley had a weird looking cap. I searched on ebay for this brand and came across a few Croxleys, they all had a cap different from mine plus the clip was free to rotate around the screw that holds it in place.
Anyway, thanks fo this forum I managed to find the correct cap for the pen, now pen and cap a reunited :-)
A correct cap has to have chevrons, on the top of the clip, that match the ones on the lever of the filler.
A couple of photos of the pen with the 'not' cap and the pen with its own CAP !!

Thank you

...And to think eachan was willing to give space to that orphaned unwanted pen part, probably for years! Finally, it finds a purpose.
