Enhancing the Ahab...
Sure most of you will have seen it, but in case you haven't, Samcapote tries Bulow nibs in the Ahab;

I love that Nathan designed this pen to be user maintainable - and reasonably priced - it opens up all these interesting possibilities if you've a little bit of dexterity, and the willingness to get your fingers inky, without the risk of spoiling an expensive pen!

I ordered an Ahab because I liked the piston flexible nib pens he previously designed for the same reason: easy to disassemble, clean, put back together, and tweak. I'd say that among the interesting possibilities is trying out inks that I'd be wary of using in pens that don't let me take them apart. I actually ordered the pen after reading several threads on problems people were having getting it to work right. I know that must sound weird.
