Pen box - a second attempt

I recently acquired a Henri Wintermans cigar box with the aim of trying my hand at my second pen storage box.

This was how it look when it arrived at my door -

I began by removing all labels and glue residue, then sanding and varnishing several coats until i was satisfied with the look

I decided to use the cigar tray as a pen tray and then used felt that i had left over from my last box to make things look presentable.

Pretty happy with the final outcome, I now have a storage box that will fit 10 pens. Though the Lamy's are a slightly snug fit.
