Stipula is a small family firm in Florence. It started in 1973 with enameling. Soon they switched to the production of fountain pens. A team of craftsmen combine old techniques, such as the use of celluloid, with modern workmanship, excellence in engineering and design. This pen is named in honor of Iris, a member of Stipula family, who left Florence in 1920's to New York to follow her passion for dancing. The pen is new, never inked. Dipping the nib in ink produced a VERY smooth fine line.
