FS: Retro 1951 Tornado Keystone Mt. Rushmore RB/BP (#628 of 989)

For sale is a Retro 1951 Keystone Tornado rollerball/ballpoint pen. It is essentially new/unused. It was only handled to take the pictures for this listing and to make sure it was in working order and without any defects. The pen is in tribute to the Mt. Rushmore monument in Keystone, South Dakota. It features a stonewashed pewtar barrel. The faces of Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln are acid-etched and look much nicer in person than in my pictures. The finial features the sun from the state flag of South Dakota. The clip and trim are stonewashed brass. The Keystone pen is a numbered edition. The pen for sale is #628 of 989 made. 989 was chosen as it cost $989,000 to sculpt the monument. The pen will come in its original tube (which can double as a pen stand) with papers. A capless rollerball refill is loaded in the pen, but it will also accept Parker-style ballpoint refills.
