Hi all,

Quite a lovely looking pen and a useable example of the rare early Vacumatic style, but it's not getting enough appreciation. Recently restored (4 mo.) by Danny Fudge. Attractive user-grade condition with some brassing to trim and some minor to captop and clip, as well as a sound repair to the rear of the barrel (there was ring separation) done by Mr. Torelli. "VACUUM FILLER" imprint still faintly visible.
A nice pencil-like EF/near-needlepoint nib (correct early one with fewer feathers and diff. feed)--very precise steady flow.
$300 now $200 shipped US (elsewhere at cost)

What does 'ring separation' mean.
Also that nib is a later style found in a Vacuum Filler. The early nibs being marked VACUUM FILLER and having no arrow.

The barrel was broken in two along one of the rings and repaired. Not actually that visible and Brad Torelli says it’s sound. The nib is early—the feathers aren’t separated in the center by the shaft as they were on the later ones. I thought the nibs you’re thinking of were only on non-ringed pens.
Hey, take it for $200, what do I care. Nishimura has one of these listed (albeit with no model imprint at all) for $650, and that one has a crack in the nib and a personalization.
