Default Old Waterman 94 leaky nib

    Hello!
I am new to the fountain pen world and was looking around my local antique shop and stumbled across a pen that was in very bad condition, Gordon (legend shop owner) gave me the pen!! I sent it off for a clean and to have a sac put in it and as soon as it came back I inked it up and started using it. It writes well but I had it in my bag and next time I went to use it the cap was full of ink. I am wondering if swapping out the feed would help with the leaking issue? Or even if that is possible (or recommended) with such an old pen.
Any information on the pen would be appreciated (I think that it is a Waterman 94 with olive ripple hard rubber and a 14K nib from googling…) and any advice on fixing the leaky nib.
    Thank you!

The ink stain on the hard rubber was already there when I was given the pen (the whole nib was caked in dried ink!). I don’t want anyone to think that I abuse my pens!!

The most likely suspect for a pen like this leaking ink into it's cap is more likely to be a sac that isn't completely airtight or has a hole in it rather than a feed problem. Unless the feed is not original, is damaged, or is not fitted correctly. I would first check the sac.

The sac is perfect - no leaks or holes.

Does any ink drip out when you remove the cap and hold the pen vertically nib down?
