It's real frustrating in Alaska. Two day service is always 3-4, etc. People charge more for shipping services that don't even *have* a cost differential, etc.

Right after I posted, I went to the USPS tracking site and entered the update email when delivered field. Almost an hour and a half later I received my package.

USPS Priority Small Flat Rate Box- $5.15 with tracking and delivery confirmation.
I've sent and received literally hundreds of these things and never had any issue. I'm not sure why people send pens any other way (unless it doesn't fit) within the US.
