I love SpellTower. You can play a daily version and be ranked with others, or play offline as many times as you want.
There are several modes. Practice can be replayed.
This is Tower mode: you link adjacent letters to form words and earn points. When you can't make any more, the game ends.
There are other modes. I like Puzzle, which gives a constant supply of fresh letters, for higher scores..
Heaps of fun for the price of a pint.

Since I always start with the same word, hitting it on the first or second rows is a wild guess. My method takes a bit of time and deduction, so my threshhold seems to be row 3 or 4.
The fifth row is disappointing.
The sixth, a disgrace.

On SpellTower, in Puzzle mode, I went above 6000 for the first time. Seems like there's more scope for improvement, compared to Wordle.
