This pen is typical of GvFC high quality and attention to detail. The pen itself is flawless, and beautifully constructed. I inked it once, then cleaned and stored it in its original box, so it looks and is like new. Its 18K M nib is smooth and a pleasure to write with. I have this same pen in Coral Red, which I am keeping for practical reasons-I have the matching pencil in Coral red, so the India Red is an extra and goes ignored by me. $184.
