Default Waterman 12 BCHR, Rare Star IDEAL nib, wonderful flex, stub nib

Waterman 12 with the rare Star nib
    Black chased hard rubber

Ideal #2 nib Star nib, Stub nib, flexes effortlessly to 2.4 mm

The pen has little or no fading from it's original black.
The black under the cap looks the same as the black
on the rest of the pen.

The chasing is in fairly good condition, especially considering
that its about 120 years old.

The nib is quite flexible and is a stub, so it gives a great amount
of personality to your writing. It writes very well.

The Waterman logo and patent information is on the cap rather
than the body of the pen. I've included 2 pictures of this,
    the info says:

    Pat'd May 24, 1898
and under the Waterman IDEAL globe is:
    Pat't Feb. 12 & Nov. 4, 1884 U.S.A.

This is a very early pen, so it is an eye dropper fill type.

The capped pen is 5.3 inches, 13.52cm in length
The diameter of the body is 0.38 inch, 9.6mm

There are no initials or personalization

I'm asking $240 or best offer

I will ship the pen in a PVC tube in a USPS box. This will cost
me $9.45, which is exactly what I am asking for shipping.
